Re: Them's "Baby Please Don't Go," I just finished reading 2018's ASTRAL WEEKS: A SECRET HISTORY OF 1968. Mostly about Van Morrison's time spent in Boston. Wolf was pals with Morrison. The book manages to link up the famed album, occult thought, the Velvet Underground’s forays into Boston, Jonathan Richman, underground newspaper AVATAR, groundbreaking T.V. show WHAT’S HAPPENING, MR. SILVER?, free form radio, the Bosstown Sound hype, L.S.D., James Brown’s impromptu televised concert when Dr. King was assassinated. The mayor thought Brown's name was "Jimmy Washington."
